No refunds. Amounts paid through the Platform are non-refundable, save for the narrow case in clause 6. Please read this policy before you book. By placing a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted it.
1. Everything is prepaid
There is no cash on delivery and no pay-later on Sarviqo. You pay before a professional is dispatched, either:
- the full service price in advance; or
- a booking charge of 20% of the service price or ₹200, whichever is higher, with the balance paid directly to the professional after the work.
Which of the two applies, and the exact amounts, are displayed on the confirmation screen before you pay. The booking charge is never more than the service price itself.
2. Amounts paid are non-refundable
The booking charge secures a slot, takes the professional’s time off the market and covers the cost of arranging and processing the booking. It is earned when the booking is accepted and is not refundable, in whole or in part, including where:
- you change your mind, or no longer need the work;
- you are unavailable, unreachable, or not at the address at the scheduled time;
- access to the property, power, water or the item to be worked on is not available;
- you are dissatisfied with the standard of the work carried out by an independent professional;
- the scope turns out to be larger, smaller or different from what you described when booking; or
- you booked the wrong service, the wrong slot or the wrong address.
Payment gateway charges, taxes and statutory levies already paid are in all cases non-refundable.
3. Cancelling a booking
You may cancel from the app at any time before the work begins. What cancelling does:
- It stops the job. The professional is notified and will not attend.
- It does not return your money. Cancellation changes the status of a booking; it does not reverse a payment.
Once a professional is on the way, cancelling in the app may not reach them in time. Please call us instead so we can tell them directly.
4. If a professional does not attend
If no professional is assigned to your booking, or an assigned professional declines and no replacement accepts, the booking will not proceed. In that specific case, where no service was provided and none was arranged, you may raise the matter with our support team, who will consider a credit towards a future booking on the Platform. Any such credit is offered at our discretion, on a case-by-case basis, and is not an admission of liability or an entitlement to a cash refund.
5. Rooms and PG listings
We never take money for rooms. There is no in-app payment for a room or PG. Sarviqo does not collect, hold, transmit or refund rent, deposits, brokerage, tokens or advances.
Anything you pay a room owner is paid directly to them, off the Platform, at your own risk and on terms you agree with them. We have no record of it, no control over it, and no ability to recover it. Any dispute about such a payment is between you and that owner. See our Disclaimer.
6. Partner verification fee
Professionals and room owners pay a one-time verification fee of ₹499 when they register through the partner app. It is consideration for the verification work described in clause 5 of our Terms of Use.
The fee is earned once we begin those checks and is not refundable after that point, in whole or in part, including where:
- verification is rejected: the checks were still carried out, and that is what the fee paid for;
- you change your mind about joining, stop using the partner app, or ask us to close the account;
- you receive no bookings, fewer bookings than you expected, or earn less than you expected; or
- your account is later suspended or closed under clause 12 of the Terms.
We will refund the fee in full where we have not begun the checks and are unable to, for example, where we withdraw from your area, or where a duplicate payment is taken for the same account. Ask through the channels in clause 8 below and we will return it to the source account within 7 working days.
The fee is charged once. There is no subscription, renewal or re-verification charge on a partner account.
7. Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute for a booking that was accepted and serviced, we reserve the right to contest it with the evidence we hold (booking record, acceptance, timestamps and completion) and to suspend your account while the matter is open.
8. Raising a complaint

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to close them within 30 days.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where such a right applies and conflicts with anything above, the law prevails to that extent, and the rest of this policy continues to apply.
